This park offers a wide variety of activities that are suitable for people of all age groups. It also serves as a gateway to Livermore wineries, making it a fantastic destination for family fun. Visitors often use the park for activities such as trail running with varying elevations, mountain biking, gravel biking, and hiking. Additionally, the park features a gentle water stream that provides an ideal spot for younger children, particularly during the pleasant spring and summer seasons.
Love it! Wonderful place to go hiking, walking, bike riding and if you love bird watching this is the place TO GO! It also has Awesome scenic views! Be prepare if you go during this time, it gets quite shilly and yes! There's a fee for parking! ( $5.00 per day) Not so bad though 😉All people visiting the park were wearing facial coverings at all times, including children! We had an Amazing time!
Beautiful park for walking, biking or horseback riding. Great variety of flora and fauna to discover. Features a paved path from one end to the other that is exactly 5 miles out and back and has markers every .25 miles.
Easy trails many of them paved. Gets busy on weekends but even weekdays now. Watch out for bikes that share the main paved trails. Some assume that ringing a bell elicits the correct "move to right" actions. There's older folks who often hard of hearing that I've seen nearly smacked. Storm damage has closed some of the secondary trails.
440ft from parking lot to the lake.. parking gets hectic so I suggest venturing by 11 am for best option.. not exactly stroller friendly but bring the whole family for great exercise and a breath-taking picturesque scene as a reward🥳 …
Nice place to stroll, run, walk. Kids and pet friendly. Well maintained. $5 parking per day but worth it. Many trails ranging from 5 to 2 miles. Can lead to Wente winery and take break at wine tasting. Parking can be full on a busy day. Get there early.
You have to pay $5 for parking. You can choose the trail. Dogs friendly, but have to be on the leash. Nice view.
Great park, plenty of parking on a Wednesday at both ends of the park! Bathrooms were great but bring your own toilet seat covers, if that's important to you! Many scenic bridges, the sycamore trees are so beautiful, and there's plenty of places to sit and just enjoy the view! But this IS mountain lion habitat, so be aware! Bikes, horses and hikers will all enjoy the nature! Note: $5 to park, but easy-use machines take cash or credit cards.
